PHARMAEDGE 2026 – Personal & Professional Development Programme for Outgoing B. Pharm Students
Objectives:
1. To strengthen
students’ understanding of core pharmacy subjects through focused crash
courses.
2. To improve interview
skills, communication, and professional confidence.
3. To familiarize
students with current trends and opportunities in the healthcare and
pharmaceutical industries.
4. To provide practical
exposure and career guidance from experienced industry professionals.
5. To prepare students
for GPAT, higher education, placement opportunities, and professional growth.
Brief Description / Report of the Activities: The Department of Pharmacy, RIPANS
organized PHARMAEDGE 2026, a Personal & Professional Development Programme
for outgoing B.Pharm students from 5th to 8th June 2026. The programme was
designed to equip students with academic reinforcement, professional skills,
interview preparedness, and industry insights. Sessions included crash courses
in Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics,
along with interview skill development and career guidance.
Expert lectures were delivered
by industry professionals including Mr. Abdul Matin Siddique and Mr. Kishori
Mohan Sarkar. The programme also featured interactions with faculty members and
subject experts, helping students understand higher education pathways,
competitive examinations, placement opportunities, and professional
expectations within the pharmaceutical sector. Outcomes
/ Impact:
Improved subject competency in core
pharmacy disciplines. Enhanced interview and communication skills. Better
understanding of career opportunities in healthcare and pharmaceutical
industries. Increased confidence for GPAT, higher education, placements, and
professional practice. Strengthened industry awareness through interaction with
