Parent - Teacher Meet, 2025 Batch
Online Meeting with BMRIT 2025 Batch parents

The programme was held at 1st semester classroom, RIT RIPANS campus and was started with an introduction of the staffs to the parents and Mr. Gabriel Lalthlanawma (Class teacher) made a welcome speech.A brief explanation of the above-mentioned points was made by Dr. H. Lalrinmawia and Mr. Gabriel Lalthlanawma, giving awareness on how the parents must motivate and help makes the student how to comply with the Rules and regulations of RIPANS and Mizoram University (MZU) as follows:a. Students’ attendance : Students must secure at least 75% of class attendance without which they will not be permitted to sit for the University examination (Semester examination.)b. Leave letters : Leave letters/application made by the students must be made known to their parents and make sure it is a valid reason so as to avoid any bunking of call by the students.c. Unit test and Internal test : Every semester comprises of a Unit test and Internal test on which every student must secure at least pass mark so that the student will be able to sit for the University examination (Semester examination.)d. Internship : A student must complete and passed all the examination within the three-years course syllabus to start their 1-year internship.e. Mentor and Mentees : A Mentor and Mentees was practice building a good relationship between teachers and students. Students are divided into different groups, and 1 teacher is assigned as a Mentor for each group. A student can report any problems regarding education, family, personal issue, health, etc. and the mentor will seek a way to solve their problems.During this activity, we have a parent – teachers discussions where parents have a question on the practices and guidelines we have in the department for their information. Parents find this program helpful and assured to take a necessary action in motivating and helps to improve their kids in their education abiding the Rules and Regulations of RIPANS and Mizoram University (MZU). It was an interactive session and the parents were reciprocative. The program was ended at around 4:10 pm.
