Seminar on Radiation Protection
Seminar conducted by Mr. Micky Lalnuntluanga regarding the safe use of ionizing radiation in medical field and awareness regarding the importance of protection against ionizing radiation.

Objectives: 1) Awareness on radiation hazards. 2) Principles of radiation protection Brief description/report of the activities: The seminar was held at 3rd semester classroom of RIT, RIPANS on Radiation Protection to enhance the students on the awareness of the radiation hazards and the principles of radiation protection. The resource person Mr. Micky Lalnuntluanga was giving lectures on radiation protection. The program was started at 1:30pm and ended at 2:30pm.Outcomes/impact:(a) Students gain knowledge on risk associated with radiation exposure and protection.(b) Students understood the need to work in accordance with the rules specified by the competent authority.Students orientation programme was held separately for each of the semesters by the concerned class teachers on 31st July 2025
