The 4th semester students along with five staffs of RIT department departed from RIPANS campus on 29th April 2025 at 9:30am and reach our destination i.e Community Health Centre (CHC), Thingsulthliah village at around 11:00am. After reaching the place, the radiographer/technician at CHC gave briefing on how the hospital is functioning in the radiology department. The students were divided into six groups and each group was given a chance to learned and performed a radiographic techniques and radiation protection for they are given a protective shield (lead apron for each of the student) by our faculties. Each group that had completed their studies were given lunch and headed back to the college and reached the campus at around 6:30pm.Outcomes/impact:(a) Radiology department work flow was understood and learnt.(b) Radiographic techniques of different body parts were explained and understood practically(c) Use of portable machine and the use of dark room (manual processing of films) was done and understood practically.
