The Department of Optometry, RIPANS, organised an online special lecture on “Career Counselling on Higher Studies and Guidance on TOEFL/IELTS/GRE and Competitive Examinations” on 25 September 2026 for 1st, 3rd, and 5th Semester students. The session was delivered by Mr. S. Christopher Aimol, IRS, Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The lecture provided guidance on higher education opportunities, career pathways, competitive examinations, and effective preparation strategies. Some 5th Semester students, along with Dr. Sara, Associate Professor, Department of Optometry, attended the session online despite being out of station for exposure training. The programme was informative and helped students gain a better understanding of academic and professional opportunities.
