Mizoram ISPAT Industry, established in 2012, is an ISO-certified small-scale unit producing about 800 metric tons of iron rods monthly, with around 100 employees. During the industrial visit, participants toured the facility and observed occupational safety practices.An eye safety awareness session was conducted for workers, focusing on common hazards and the importance of protective eyewear. A demonstration on first aid for eye injuries was also provided. Additionally, safety goggles, basic medicines, and a first aid kit were distributed. The visit offered practical exposure to occupational health and enhanced awareness of eye safety in the industrial setting.
