The Department of Medical Laboratory Science, RIPANS, Aizawl, organised an Expert Talk for BMLS and MMLS students on “Regulation of Medical Laboratory/Technical Procedures and Tests in Clinical Studies in India.”The session was delivered by Dr. Bikash Medhi, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He provided valuable insights into the regulatory framework, ethical considerations, quality requirements and responsibilities of laboratory professionals involved in clinical studies and research in India.The interactive session enhanced students’ understanding of regulatory compliance and the importance of accurate, reliable and ethical laboratory practices in clinical research.
