The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) at the Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences (RIPANS) successfully conducted a specialized workshop today, January 19, 2026. The event, titled "Professional Ethics & Code of Conduct in Medical Laboratory Practice," was held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Examination Hall of the Library Building. Mr. PC Laldinpuia, an Advocate and Assistant Public Prosecutor from the District & Sessions Judge Court, Aizawl, served as a resource person, sharing vital insights into the legal frameworks surrounding medical practice. Mr. Attuluri Vamsi Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of MLS, RIPANS, provided academic and practical guidance on maintaining professional standards in the lab. The workshop successfully achieved its goal of educating future laboratory professionals on the importance of integrity, accountability, and the "Code of Conduct" essential for clinical excellence.
